We knew it. But since this Wednesday 1er February, it’s official. Selim Amallah leaves Standard de Liège, after three and a half years of service, for Valladolid where he signed until June 2027.
Amallah had been out of the Belgian club since September 30, 2023 and has not played for a club since that date.
In three and a half years, Amellah had scored 31 goals and provided 11 assists in 97 matches played for Standard.
The negotiations around the extension of his contract at Standard, which expires next June, were at the origin of the unfair shelving of the Moroccan international.
Amellah was going, however, thanks to the confidence of Regragui, to highlight internationally during the last World Cup during his 7 matches played.
Amallah’s new challenge: to do what is necessary to ensure that his new club remains in the elite of Spanish football. Valladolid is 18th in La Liga and first relegated.
