Andor” unveils an explosive last trailer before its launch

Prequel to the movie RogueOnethe series produced by Disney, Star Wars: Andorprepares its arrival with an attractive new video.

The action of the series Star Wars: Andor takes place five years before the events of the film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but it picks up a few key characters from it, detailing their pasts and revealing a bit more of their true selves. Starting with Cassian (Diego Luna), a troubled character sometimes selfish, sometimes altruistic, who will become one of the heroes of RogueOne. Saw Guerrera (Forest Whitaker), an essential character in the resistance, will undoubtedly see his spirit of revolt lead him to a certain form of extremism which becomes his own in the feature film. Luthen Rael (Stellan Skarsgård) is another pivotal figure, connecting every member of the Rebellion.

Andora war of women

Mon Motha (Genevieve O’Reilly) is a senator from Andor, torn between the political habits of diplomacy and negotiation and her irrepressible desire to help the resistance. Dedra Meero (Denise Gough) sides with the Empire, as a senior officer. She hates Andor as much as the rebels, perfectly embodying the blind rage inherited from her rulers. Finally, it is impossible to end this feminine overview without mentioning Bix Caleen (Adria Arjona), who shares Cassian with some problems with the Empire, and a strong character.

A dark atmosphere, remorse, regrets: this is the unenchanting atmosphere depicted by the first seconds of this trailer. Life on Andor is now thwarted by the boundless ambitions of the Empire and the stakes for its inhabitants are crucial. One of the main showrunners and producers of the series, Tony Gilroy, is behind the script for RogueOne. But his involvement in the film The memory in the skin could offer Cassian action scenes as strong as those of Jason Bourne. The first three episodes of the planned 12 will be available on Disney + from September 21, and a second season is already in the works.
