Canada holds its breath: One of the stars is now a doubt for the World Cup

Canada, the first opponent of the Red Devils at the World Cup, is waiting. The North American side are currently holding their breath as their star, Bayern Munich player Alphonso Davies, is still unfit to play. The latter will not play against Japan this afternoon in preparation and will undergo medical examinations at the end of the week.

Hit in the thigh, Davies is now doubtful for the tournament. Depending on the medical results, Bayern will be consulted and a decision will then be made on whether or not they will be present at the tournament, and therefore against Belgium, which they will face on November 23. Alphonso Davies is, along with Jonathan David, one of the stars of this great Canadian team, so his absence would be a real blow.
