Castres. Concert of Corsican songs on Tuesday at the temple

The Corsican singing group Fiuminale will be in concert at the temple on rue du Consulat this Tuesday, November 15, at 8 p.m. Fiuminale is a duo formed by Maxime Merlandi and Jean-Philippe Guissani. After twenty years spent with the Barbara Furtuna ensemble and hundreds of concerts given around the world, the two artists meet to share the songs that have marked their journey. Traditional songs, sacred and creations, they tell us in music a friendship of more than forty years without falling into nostalgia.

It is at the foot of Capicorsu, in the Nebbiu where they grew up, that they continue to draw their inspiration, telling us about Corsica, far from clichés and commonplaces. Through a chosen repertoire, they tell with passion the feelings that a life of music and encounters provides.

Ticket offices on site the day of the concert from 6:30 p.m. and online at www.fiuminale.com. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.; free placement. Single price, €16 (free for children under 12).
