Cinema: “Pattie”, the new heroine of a Toulouse studio

The latest production from the Toulouse studios TAT ​​Productions, the animated film, “Pattie and the wrath of Poseidon”, will be released this Wednesday, January 25 in the dark rooms of Gers. After a slew of previews organized throughout France, including one that took place at Ciné 32 on January 7, here is a new heroine, who bears the name of Pattie. The latter is a little mouse living in the time of ancient Greece, who rescues, with his friends, the aging Jason accompanied by his Argonauts brought back to life and again embroiled in a quest imposed by Poseidon, the god of the sea.

If he keeps an animal register, the director David Alaux, to whom we already owe “Les Aces de la Jungle” (2017) and “Pil” (2021), takes a deep dive in the waters of the Aegean Sea and in the ‘Greek antiquity. For the occasion, he presents a revisited legend of the Golden Fleece. “It’s an original story, but we set the scene in the city of Jason, 80 years after the expedition of the adventurer”, explained in our columns, David Alaux, at the beginning of January.

A young adventurous mouse

It all begins in Yolcos, a beautiful and prosperous port city of ancient Greece, where life flows peacefully, when the population is threatened by the wrath of Poseidon. A young adventurous mouse and the cat who adopted her will then unwittingly help old Jason and his Argonauts in their quest to save the city. However, much more than a helping hand, the operation will finally bring them to face the most dangerous mythical creatures of mythology and to overcome all the dangers in their place.
