Oct 5 (Reuters) – Industrial production rebounded more than expected in France in August, rising 2.4%, according to data released by INSEE on Wednesday.
Economists polled by Reuters on average expected stable industrial production.
In July, industrial production was down 1.6%.
Production recovered in “other industrial products”, rebounded sharply in transport equipment, capital goods and in the extractive industries, energy, water, the institute said in a statement.
