You missed the Big Clips of the week all summer, but here they are back and full. We removed all the salt and sand from our eyes and ears and replaced them with good video quality, as always.
For this edition, we have chosen: Broken Baby, The Foxy Ladies, The Struts, Jon Pardi, OFF, Superdownhome, Kovacs, Madam, Phat Dat, Black Lips.
A totally biased selection by Thomas N., Yann Landry and Gregor Samsa
Broken Baby – “Make Manager”
It’s the little fury at the end of the holidays, because yeah, we really didn’t want to get back to work. So we’re fully behind Broken Baby.
The Foxy Ladies – “Oh My God”
“Your hair is soft as a salad of lamb’s lettuce, I want to cut your fingers like sausages”, will not say these punks from Lyon, but they necessarily think so. A song as exciting as this clip worthy of the great chefs.
The Struts – “Fallin’ With Me”
The English The Strutswith their charismatic lead singer Luke Spiller, never forget to put color in their music. Always surprising, the 4 huluberlus swing their “Fallin’ With Me” skud with ease.
Jon Pardi – “Mr. Saturday Night”
Although the resemblance is striking Josh Man, Jon Pardi evolves in a Country style where he has become an important artist in the register in the United States. He is releasing his new track “Mr. Saturday Night” today.
OFF! – “Kill to be Heard”
Sensitive souls, refrain from watching this punk rock clip! This may seem quite disturbing to you. “Kill To Be Heard” is from the album Free LSD which will be released on September 30, which promises real nuggets in the genre.
Superdownhome – “Motorway Home”
These two Italian bluesmen play classy punk. We really want to escort them on their little car trip. It is said that a new album, Blues Pyromaniacswill be released at the end of September.
Kovacs – “Fragile”
Fragile as earthenware, the voice of Kovacs is refined, clear as bath water in this piece heralding a new album for early 2023.
Madam – “Rodeo”
Eat flowers and be careful in the car.
Phat Dat – “Flowers”
Danceable pop, a groovy rhythm, pretty cute paintings. It’s fresh it’s sweet it’s the diabolo-mint of the ears. The full album will be released at the end of September.
Black Lips – “No Rave”
A sticky clip of cold tobacco, a clip that stinks of the back room of a gloomy bar where a battered jukebox would be enthroned. It’s blurry, it’s skai, it’s enjoyable. Apocalypse Love, the 10th album by Black Lips, released on October 14. So many days to wait!
