LG announces new OLED CS TVs: new with old?

LG has just introduced a new generation of CS OLED TVs that combines the structure of the TV LG C1 with the screen LG C2 and this with a view to selling too large a stock of W-OLED panels.

As reported by our colleagues Frandroidthese panels were initially planned to power future Samsung OLED televisions, but the Korean manufacturer has developed its own QD-OLED technology which it favors.

Premium positioning

LG has therefore chosen to offer a new variant called LG OLED CS in addition to the LG C1 and C2 that are already on the market.

It is available in three diagonals, 55, 65 and 77 inches, has the WebOS 22 interface and incorporates the new Alpha 9 Gen5 AI processor. As far as the price positioning is concerned, it is necessary to count between 1,500 and 3,500 euros, therefore high-end. Obviously, we can expect some discounts during Black Friday.
