Maroclear: Fathia Bennis passes the torch

After more than fifteen years at the head of the central depositary, this well-known figure in the financial markets gives up his chair to Mounir Razki, until then representative of Bank Al-Maghrib within this institution.

La Vie Eco has learned from internal sources at the central depositary that Maroclear’s ordinary general meeting, held this Friday, January 20, has decided to appoint Mounir Razki as managing director. He replaces Fathia Bennis, a well-known figure in the financial markets who has held this position since 2007.

Mounir Razki was previously a director of Maroclear representing Bank Al Maghrib within Maroclear and held the position of director of monetary and foreign exchange operations within the Central Bank.
