Mauritania: Five Mourabitounes join the group in Rabat

Five Mourabitounes joined this Tuesday, September 20, 2022 the group of Amir Abdou in Rabat. They are Aboubakar Kamara, Almike Moussa N’Diaye, El Hassen Houeibib, Abdallahi Mahmoud and Guessouma Fofana who joined the Mauritania training camp.

While the first group from Mauritania landed in Rabat, Morocco last Sunday, the other players are continuously arriving. On Monday, Al-Hudood SC playmaker Mohamed Soueid joined the Mourabitounes in Rabat along with other players. Amir Abdou led his first session at the facilities of Fath Union Sports in Rabat with 14 players out of the 23 players called up. The Franco-Comorian coach is still waiting for nine Mourabitounes before his group is complete.

This Tuesday, five players landed in Rabat to complete the group of 14 players who completed the first training session. In this list, we note the presence of Aboubakar Kamara, Almike Moussa N’Diaye, El Hassen Houeibib, Abdallahi Mahmoud and Guessouma Fofana. They will be in the squad today for training in Rabat. The FFRIM also announced the package by El Hadji Ba because of an injury. The other players are still expected in the next few hours in Morocco.

Mauritania will play two friendly matches at the Bachir stadium in Mohammedia (Morocco). The Mourabitounes’ first match will be against Benin on Saturday September 24, 2022, and the second will be played on Tuesday September 27, 2022 against Congo.
