In addition to the France team which is in the line of sight of Zinedine Zidane, two other options are considered by the French technician.
Without a sideline since leaving Real Madrid in the summer of 2021, Zinedine Zidane recently indicated that he will soon be back as coach. But the question that has persisted for several months is where? Obviously, all observers dream of seeing Zinedine Zidane on the bench of the France team after the World Cup.
Zidane must think of a plan B
This is the track favored by the former Real Madrid coach, everyone is well aware of that. For some, he would have even consciously waited for the World Cup without accepting the slightest opportunity in a club in order to give himself the maximum chance of inheriting the Blues. The problem is that there is a coach in office and under contract: Didier Deschamps.
And if the France team succeeds in its World Cup, there is no reason for Didier Deschamps to give way to Zinedine Zidane. In other words, the former Real Madrid coach is not master of his destiny and depends on the results of the Blues as well as the will of his former teammate in the France team to continue the adventure.
Yet another return to Madrid?
Zinedine Zidane can’t be solely focused on the France national team and has to think of a plan B. According to information from Defensa Central, Zizou is considering three options for his future as a coach. The France team of course, but also an option on the Italian side. Indeed, Defensa Central reveals that Zidane would like to train in Italy and especially at Juventus.
A completely feasible option given the difficulties of the Turinese this season. The coaching position could be freed up fairly quickly, especially if the Frenchman poses as a candidate to recover the position of Massimiliano Allegri. Last but not least, Defensa Central claim that Zinedine Zidane’s third option is none other than Real Madrid.
The Madrid media say it is quite possible that Zinedine Zidane will return to the Real Madrid bench for a third time, but it would not be a short-term option. Zizou recently rekindled ties with Florentino Pérez but wouldn’t want to rush a return to the Madrid capital and it’s unlikely to be right after Carlo Ancelotti. Today, two options therefore stand out for Zinedine Zidane, the one that makes everyone dream, including the main interested party: the France team, and plan B which is a major challenge: Juventus.
