Microsoft subpoenas Sony to appear

In the sequel to the drama surrounding the acquisition of Activision-Blizzard, the FTC (American organization responsible for protecting the public from anti-competitive practices) has taken legal action against Microsoft.

The action is based on the fear that the operation destroys competition vis-a-vis Xbox. Pending the hearing which will take place on August 2, 2023, Microsoft is preparing its defense and has therefore subpoenaed Sony to appear and to communicate certain documents useful to the procedure. The two companies are currently discussing the schedule according to which they will communicate these elements to the other party. Sony has also asked until January 27 to continue to negotiate and thus reduce the various points that will be presented to the judge during the hearing on August 2.

Indie box: UnderDungeon, graphically light but excellent to play!
