Morocco: Ayoub Skouma puts on his crampons

After two years of inactivity, Ayoub Skouma has finally found a base. The veteran Moroccan midfielder, free of any contract, has joined Kawkab from Marrakech in the amateur division.

Ayoub Skouma is no longer unemployed. The former Wydad Casablanca player signed with Kawkab Marrakech in his country’s amateur championship. It is now with the Knights of the Palmeraie that the 35-year-old player will spend his old days in his career. For the moment, no details have been given regarding the duration of his contract.

Kawkab de Marrakech aims to return to the second division next season and Ayoub Skouma fits well into this project. The Red and White coach, Redouane El Haimer, can count on the experience of the former FUS Rabat midfielder to achieve this goal.

Skouma has spent most of his career in Morocco. Trained at Wydad Casablanca, he recently played with the Emperors before joining Kawkab from Marrakech. Passed by FUS Rabat, DH El Jadida, he had an experience in the United Arab Emirates in 2013 with Khaitan SC.
