The context of the Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of the continuity of cross-border flows of goods to limit the impact of this crisis and promote post-crisis economic recovery, specifies the same source. Indeed, linking to the world trade system, through the improvement of the conditions of access to world markets, constitutes a strategic challenge and an engine of economic growth. In this context, one-stop shops should be catalysts for the fluidification of cross-border trade, by providing value-added services, making it possible to improve the competitiveness of trade exchanges.
To this end, the acceleration of digital transformation and the dematerialization of processes constitute major axes of the one-stop shops of the future. With the participation of several international experts from various backgrounds, decision-makers, business leaders and players in the international trade ecosystem, debates and exchanges will be held, over three days, around subjects covering in particular the transformation and the use of technologies for efficient, inclusive and sustainable international trade, as well as regional and international collaboration and interoperability between single windows.
The Conference will also discuss the role of the Single Window ecosystem in promoting and developing intra-African trade, as well as the innovation and disruptive technologies at the heart of the Single Windows of the future.
