Selim Amallah should normally appear on Walid Regragui’s first list this Monday, September 12. While waiting for the announcement of this list, the Standard de Liège midfielder revealed the substance of his recent discussion with the coach of the Atlas Lions.
Confident in the club, Selim Amallah is a player on whom Walid Regragui is counting, especially for the next World Cup. The 25-year-old midfielder is well aware of this and intends to further raise his level of play and improve his performance.
“With Morocco, we have a new coach and he told me that the most important thing was that I play. I have to keep the rhythm and be efficient until the World Cup, which is not a tournament like the others”, he revealed.
Selim Amallah has been playing for the Atlas Lions since 2019. He has 22 caps for 4 goals scored. This season, the former member of Royal Excel Mouscron and Royale Union Tubize-Braine is on fire with Standard de Liège. He has scored 4 goals and has one assist in 7 Jupiler Pro League games.
