National coach Walid Regragui has called on Fahd Moufi, who plays for Portuguese club Portimonense SC, to take part in the Morocco team’s preparation camp which begins Monday at the Mohammed VI football complex in Maâmora, the Federation announced. Royal Moroccan Football Association (FRMF).
Similarly, the medical staff authorized Hamza El Moussaoui to leave the place of residence of the national team, because of the injury he contracted with his club, the Renaissance of Berkane, specifies the Federation on its website.
Regragui unveiled, last Monday, his first list of players selected for the two friendly matches scheduled against Chile and Paraguay.
Marked by the return of Hakim Ziyech and Younes Belhanda, this list of 31 players called up also includes a newcomer to the ranks of the national team, in this case Walid Cheddira who plays for the Italian club Bari (Serie B).
It also signs the return to the national team of former Rajaoui, Badr Benoun, who plays for the club Qatar SC, as does Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, recently loaned by FC Barcelona to Osasuna.
The Atlas Lions will face, respectively, Chile on September 23 in Barcelona and Paraguay on September 27 in Seville, in anticipation of their participation in the World Cup-2022.
