Music. Queen in symphonic mode in Strasbourg

A tribute show to Queen hunts the other at Zénith Europe which has just received Gary Mullen & The Works with One Night Of Queen. Now we enter the symphonic dimension of the famous British glam-rock band. A lyrical side which was not to displease the late Freddie Mercury, who we remember that he provoked the diva Montserrat Caballé in a duet on Barcelona the anthem of the 1992 Olympics.

With Queen, between roaring guitars and percussive drums, majestic choirs often recalled the classical inspiration of the group here revisited under the title: Symphonic Queen. Four singers pass the torch on stage around the rock formation of the London musical We Will Rock You , all accompanied by the symphony orchestra of the Yellow Socks Orchestra. The repertoire played goes from the first single Seven Seas Of Rhye to the prophetic The Show Must Go On passing by quantity of impossible to circumvent tubes like Somebody To Love Where Don’t Stop Me Now. Queen even more grandiose, is it possible? To be checked…

Concert Thursday 19 January at 8 p.m. at the Zénith de Strasbourg. Prices from €27.30 to €69. Internet : www.zenith-strasbourg.fr
