News from the Angevins, Sofiane Boufal and Azzedine Ounahi

Dr. Abderrazak Hifti, doctor of the Atlas Lions, gave a very reassuring report on the state of form of the SCO Atlas Lions, Sofiane Boufal and Azzedine Ounahi, currently present in Doha with the rest of the group of Walid Regragui.

Overall, the health of the players is good with a few exceptions which concern Noussair Mazraoui and Zakaria Aboukhlal, who are always very caring. Light injuries that require a few days rest for the second who should miss the friendly match against Georgia and probably the first match of the World Cup against Croatia.

Physically, all the other players, including Boufal and Ounahi are doing well and are ready to play the game against Georgia. Dr. Hifti’s medical report confirmed the broken nose for Azzedine and a very slight muscle sprain for Sofiane.

Nothing alarming for the two Angevins who are already fully operational and ready to participate in the World Cup, which Qatar will host from November 20. The two Moroccan internationals trained normally with the rest of the group on Tuesday in Doha.
