Nintendo Switch Online: three Mega Drive games, including Earthworm Jim, are now available

The Nintendo Switch subscription offers three “new” Mega Drive games since September 15th.

And the most nostalgic will be delighted to learn that this good old Earthworm Jim will be part of it. The cult game by David Perry has lost none of its charm and particularly neat animations, and this is an opportunity to (re)discover the adventures of this earthworm like no other.

The other two additions are less popular. It is Alisia Dragoon and of The Story of Thor.

The first has not been reissued by us since its release in 1992 (we will nevertheless note a passage on the Mega Drive Mini). In this title, which benefited from the participation of the Gainax studio, we fight with lightning through visually very successful levels.

The second, known across the Atlantic as Beyond Oasis, is an action game in isometric view, which has already been reissued many times by SEGA in a whole bunch of compilations.

Remember that to access these three games, as well as the rest of the Mega Drive catalog already available, you must subscribe to the Nintendo Switch Online + Additional Pack, i.e. the “premium” version of the subscription. Count 39.99 euros per year to enjoy Mega Drive games, Nintendo 64 and some additional bonuses.
