TF1 welcomed the audiences for the season of “Star Academy” on Sunday, the star tele-hook show of the 2000s returned to the air this fall and won on Saturday by the young singer Anisha.
“Large leader”, the finale of this tenth season was followed on average by 3.8 million viewers, a “real success” which is available on all targets, the channel said in a press release.
The show thus gathered 44% of the public on the queen target of “women responsible for purchasing under 50”, according to figures presented by TF1.
By age group, the audience share was 58% for 15-34 year olds, 42% for 25-49 year olds and 61% for 25-34 year olds.
For the channel, the good results of the final confirm those recorded throughout the season.
Excluding the final and semi-final, the program brought together “an average of 4.2 million viewers” in prime time, an “exceptional record”, insisted TF1.
For its part, “La Quotidienne” had a “hearing card”, with 1.9 million viewers on average, she added.
Launched in 2001 by the production company Endemol, “Star Academy” was initially broadcast for eight seasons on TF1, with a final finale in December 2008.
It was also broadcast for a single season on the NRJ 12 channel, in 2012-2013.
