South Africa candidate for the organization

While the 2023 Australia-New Zealand Women’s World Cup has not yet been played, we are already scrambling to organize the 2027 one. An African country will be among the candidates: South Africa.

She is going to apply for the organization of the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, the objective being to organize the event on the continent for the first time. In addition, South Africa, so far, remains the only country on the African continent to host the Men’s World Cup, it was in 2010.

The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany have already submitted a joint bid for the 2027 competition.

The United States is also preparing to launch its bid for the 2027 or 2031 World Cups.

Africa and South America are the only continents that have never hosted a Women’s World Cup.
