Tangier Grand Stadium: works delivered on time

Work on the Grand Stade de Tanger was completed on time, as expected. The installation of some missing seats is in progress.

A first delivery of these seats was made on Thursday January 19 in the evening, and another is scheduled for Friday January 20 in the evening.

According to our sources, “a FIFA mission carried out an inspection visit last week, to control turf and building mainly. She asked some small adjustments, such as the improvement of the lighting in certain premises, which we are in the process of adjusting. But overall, the work is complete, and the last seats received are being installed.

“All workers should leave the site around the beginning of next weekto keep only those who will have to stay on site throughout the event, for emergency interventions in particular”, specify our sources.

As a reminder, Tangier was selected to host some Club World Cup matches, scheduled from February 1 to 11, 2023.

The event will know the participationamong other things, real Madridwinner of the European Champions League, Wydad of Casablancawinner of the CAF Champions League, Seattle Soundersof Flamengo and of theAuckland City. The WAC will face Al Hilal on February 4.
