The ball of deliveries will finally be able to begin for the One, the spectacular hypercar signed Mercedes-AMG. The first unit has left the assembly plant, and is just waiting to join its happy owner!
More than five years after presenting it in Frankfurt in concept form, Mercedes is finally kicking off deliveries. The first copy left the factory. Those responsible for the brand did not fail to immortalize this moment by publishing photos of the copy in question. The opportunity to observe it from every angle and admire its configuration.
Of course, Mercedes-AMG did not communicate the identity of the first customer to receive his car. But if we rely on the photos, we see that the first One to have left the factory is painted black, with touches of blue on the lower parts of the profile, and a hint of red at the air intake on the roof. A configuration that is reminiscent of that of the 2021 Silver Arrows, the two single-seaters entered by the team mercedes in Formula 1.
Moreover, many Formula 1 drivers have placed orders. We can cite, among others, Nico Rosberg (former Mercedes driver), David Coulthard and Lewis Hamilton. The latter even ordered two, to be able to offer one to his father. Would the seven-time world champion be the first to receive one of his two copies? This might seem logical, given that he himself participated in the development of the machine. According to the rumours, other personalities, such as actor Mark Wahlberg, are also on the list of buyers.
Let us remember, however, that the One will only be produced in 275 copies. Customers whose orders are accepted are therefore handpicked, and must be able to pay more than two million euros to afford one.
