Opposed to Tunisia (September 22 in Orléans, France) and Burkina Faso (September 27 in Rabat, Morocco), the Comoros will present themselves with a heavily revamped face. No less than 6 new players are thus appearing among the 24 names revealed this Friday by coach Younes Zerdouk.
Among them are two young central defenders from Olympique de Marseille: Aaron Kamardin, 20, and Yakine Saïd Mmadi, who is only 18. Karim Attoumani (Dijon), Aymeric Ahmed (Stasbourg), Adel Mahamoud (Nantes) and Zaïd Amir (Le Mans) are also celebrating their first call-up in A after playing the Maurice Revello Tournament with the U21s in June.
The Cœlacanthes will however be deprived of the injured Iyad Mohamed and Faïz Mattoir. At the same time, Salim Ben Boina, Rafidine Abdullah, Younn Zahary, Kassim Mdahoma and Ahmed Mogni pay for their situation since they find themselves without a club and are therefore missing. For the rest, the headliners like Youssouf M’Changama, Ali Ahamada, Chaker Alhadur, Ben El Fardou and Faiz Selemani are there.
