The national coach, Walid Regragui, traveled to Sochaux to meet the two central defenders of the Ligue 2 club, Ismaïl Aaneba and Saad Agouzoul.
Walid Regragui continues his exploration in various championships to discover national talents while important deadlines, including CAN Côte d’Ivoire 2024, are fast approaching.
It is with this in mind that the national coach went to Sochaux to meet the two central defenders of the Ligue 2 club, Ismaïl Aaneba and Saad Agouzoul.
The first is 23 years old and has been playing with Les Lionceaux since June 2021. He then arrived from Racing de Strasbourg, the club where he did part of his training. This season, in Ligue 2, the native of Mantes-la-Jolie (France) has 16 appearances.
The second was born in Marrakech, is 25 years old and joined Sochaux last July. This season, he has played 18 games in Ligue 2 for 1 goal.
Both Aaneba and Agouzoul have had selections with the U23 National Team in the past.
As a reminder, Sochaux occupies 4th place in the standings with 30 points (9 wins, 3 draws and 6 losses).
